The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye clarified that 455,758 unique investors hold units in 131 funds ordered into liquidation, addressing conflicting figures circulating publicly. The investor count is based on records from the Central Securities Depository of Türkiye. The liquidation decisions, adopted on Sept. 17, 2026, cover funds managed by seven portfolio management companies. The clarification follows the board’s extension of the liquidation period from three to six months to support asset sales under more suitable conditions, while allowing earlier completion.
