The National Bank of Ukraine has updated its list of systemically important banks following its annual review of bank performance indicators, confirming systemic importance for the 15 banks included in 2024 and adding Idea Bank JSC. The revised list comprises 16 institutions: A-BANK JSC, Idea Bank JSC, CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK JSC, KREDOBANK JSC, OTP BANK JSC, Oschadbank JSC, Pivdennyi JSB, CB PrivatBank JSC, FUIB JSC, Raiffeisen Bank JSC, SENSE BANK JSC, TASCOMBANK JSC, UKRGASBANK JSB, Ukreximbank JSC, UKRSIBBANK JSC, and UNIVERSAL BANK JSC. The list was approved by NBU Board Decision No. 198 dated 17 June 2025. Systemically important banks are designated annually based on data as of 1 January, in line with the NBU’s Regulation on the Procedure for Identifying Systemically Important Banks (NBU Board Resolution No. 863, as amended).

National Bank of Ukraine expands its list of systemically important banks to 16 by adding Idea Bank
The National Bank of Ukraine has updated its list of systemically important banks, adding Idea Bank JSC to the existing 15 banks from 2024. The revised list, approved by NBU Board Decision No. 198, now includes 16 institutions. This designation is based on annual performance data as of 1 January, per the NBU’s regulation.
