The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, together with the National Depository of Ukraine, announced an online public presentation and discussion on a new approach to registering share issuances that would make the Central Depository a key element of the capital market infrastructure. The session will cover international practice in the EU and other jurisdictions, the redesigned business processes including a “one-stop shop” approach and fewer stages, and proposed legislative changes under the Concept for a draft Law of Ukraine “On Financial Market Infrastructure” and related legal acts. The announced direction envisages a shift to a more flexible, modern registration model, including shortening timelines from months to a few days, reducing the number of procedures, and digitising processes, with a Q&A segment; speakers include NSSMC Chair Oleksii Semeniuk, NSSMC member Maksym Libanov, and National Depository of Ukraine representatives Maryna Adamovska and Olena Obzhelian. The webinar is scheduled for 28 April 2026 (10:00–11:00) and will be held via Zoom with participation by prior registration.
