Paleng-QR Ph Plus is jointly implemented with the Department of the Interior and Local Government and uses QR Ph, the national standard for quick response codes. The programme had expanded to over 750 local government units nationwide as of 31 October 2025.

The Central Bank of the Philippines highlighted the Paleng-QR Ph Plus Program at a Metro Manila Council meeting, supporting its adoption by all local government units in Metro Manila.
