Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission has continued its “Campaign on Campus” financial and investment literacy initiative for a second year, scaling it from a Bangkok-area pilot to universities in five regions nationwide. The programme targets university students and focuses on financial planning, saving and investing, and awareness of investment scams through an “edutainment” format. Season 2 is planned to reach no fewer than 15 universities and includes an investment simulation game, a scam-awareness game (“Catch Me If You Can”), and storytelling and Q&A sessions, alongside a TikTok contest on sharing financial and investment tips with Gen Z offering scholarships totalling THB 37,000. The 2024 pilot involved five universities in Bangkok and nearby areas, drew over 1,230 student participants, and generated 146 TikTok clips with over 180,000 views and around 23,000 engagements; ten contest winners were selected from four universities. The first 2025 event was held at the College of Asian Scholars in Khon Kaen Province on 23 July 2025 with over 180 students participating. Universities can apply to participate in Campaign on Campus Season 2, with applications closing on 31 October 2025.
