The Central Bank of Egypt has concluded the fourth FinTech Got Talent university competition under FinTech Egypt’s FinYology initiative, selecting FinFamily as the winner and awarding second and third place to PayRamids and Pockety. The three teams will represent Egypt at the Arab FinTech Challenge during the Jordan FinTech Festival from Sept. 21 to 24, 2026. FinFamily offers Arabic and English financial education for children ages 6 to 15, combining interactive learning with artificial intelligence supported training. PayRamids provides small and medium-sized enterprises with human resources and payroll management and access to short-term finance from banks and licensed finance providers, while Pockety combines a mobile application and smart wristband to help children save, monitor spending and make parent-supervised payments. The competition narrowed university entries to 11 projects, which received one month of support at the DMZ Cairo business incubator. Launched in 2023, FinYology now covers 31 Egyptian universities and has involved about 24,000 students in roughly 1,060 projects, with support from around 27 banks and financial institutions. The latest competition continues the Central Bank’s annual program to develop university-level financial technology skills and projects.
