The National Bank of Moldova reported that it hosted “A holiday day at NBM,” an interactive financial education event for more than 60 children aged 7 to 10. The program introduced the role of a central bank and basic principles of responsible financial decision-making through age-appropriate activities. Participants visited the bank’s exhibition hall to learn how money has evolved over time, viewed commemorative gold and silver coins, and used special equipment to identify banknote security features. Workshops, movement games and puzzles were used to explain saving, financial responsibility and the role of money in everyday life. Governor Anca Dragu welcomed the children, and the central bank said the event was the sixth edition of an initiative aimed at promoting financial education among children and young people.
