Argentina’s Superintendency of Insurance has issued an enforcement decision disqualifying an external auditor from practice for five years, after finding non-compliance with required minimum accounting audit procedures. The authority determined that the auditor failed to meet the minimum procedures set out in the General Regulation of Insurance Activity, point 39.13.2. Once the decision becomes final, the disqualification will be recorded by the Authorisations and Registers management unit and notified to the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
