The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) has publicised that the 13th National Financial Education Week will take place from 18 to 24 May 2026, with the central theme “Financial Education: building a future with longevity and prosperity”. The week is organised by the Brazilian Forum for Financial Education (FBEF), and institutions across sectors are invited to participate by running activities on their own or in partnership with FBEF members. The programme is positioned as a nationwide effort to promote financial, insurance, pension and tax education through free initiatives, linking longevity to continuous planning and more conscious financial decision-making. Suggested topics include planning for longevity, autonomy and decision-making, inclusion and access to knowledge, and financial prevention and security, while initiatives are expected to follow the National Financial Education Strategy guidelines, including the prohibition on offering products and services. Organisers indicated that information on how to register initiatives for inclusion in the official agenda will be published soon.
