The Bank of Italy announced the 23rd edition of its Public Finance Workshop, to be held in Rome on 4-5 September 2025, and opened a call for research paper submissions. The event will bring together academics and experts from national and international institutions to discuss policy-relevant public finance topics, including fiscal policies for growth, public investment and support for private investment, defence economics, and the sustainability and reform of welfare systems, including how the green and digital transitions affect inequality. Research contributions must be submitted by 31 May 2025, following the procedures set out in the call for papers.
