The State Bank of Pakistan reported that workers’ remittances reached USD 3.7 billion in August 2026, up 16.5% from a year earlier and 0.7% from July. Cumulative inflows increased 14.7% to USD 7.3 billion in July-August FY27, compared with USD 6.4 billion in the same period last year. Saudi Arabia was the largest remittance corridor in August at USD 873.5 million, followed by the United Arab Emirates at USD 749.8 million, the United Kingdom at USD 563.7 million and the United States at USD 308.9 million.
