The Central Bank of Türkiye has launched an e-Government Gateway service that allows individuals to identify the payment and electronic money institutions where they hold accounts. Users may also access this information on behalf of deceased persons whose estates they inherit. The service was developed with relevant stakeholders as part of the central bank’s responsibility for regulating and supervising payment services under Law No. 6493.
