The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority appointed Geron Burnett as Deputy Head of the Securities Supervision Division, effective June 1, 2026. He will support oversight of the securities regulatory framework, including supervision of regulated entities, development of supervisory practices and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. Burnett has more than 20 years of experience in securities regulation, compliance and market operations. He previously served as senior manager of the Operations Division at the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange and as assistant operations manager at the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange.
