Greece's Ministry of National Economy and Finance reported that the out-of-court debt workout mechanism completed 2,237 successful restructurings in September, covering EUR 640 million in original debts. Both measures reached six-month highs, while 7,493 new applications were initiated on the platform, also the highest level in six months, and nearly 2,986 applications were finalized. Of the September restructurings, 496 were completed under mandatory creditor participation and 270 involved vulnerable debtors, including 32 people with disabilities. Successful admission to the mechanism resulted in 651 auction suspensions. Since the mechanism began, it has completed 70,244 restructurings covering EUR 21.21 billion in original debts. Separately, the four largest credit servicers, Intrum, Cepal, DoValue and Qquant, completed bilateral arrangements totaling EUR 164 million for 2,080 debtors in August.
