The Australian Securities & Investments Commission released results for the 30th Financial Advisers Exam cycle held in August 2025, reporting that 152 of 221 candidates passed, a 68.78% pass rate. First-time sitters accounted for 73% (162) of candidates. The exam was conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research using a process intended to ensure consistent standards across cycles. Unsuccessful candidates will receive general feedback from ACER on areas of underperformance, consistent with prior cycles. Cumulatively, 22,153 candidates have sat the exam and 20,546 (92%) have passed. The next exam is scheduled for 6 November 2025, with bookings open from 3 October to 24 October 2025.
