The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance convened a Customer Council under Phase Three of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme to simplify financial services and assess the responsible deployment of agentic artificial intelligence. Customers and strategic partners tested proposed concepts and considered how financial procedures could become proactive and autonomous while remaining subject to governance and security safeguards. The sessions covered six areas: budget preparation, transfers of financial allocations, federal service fee requests, employee payroll, government procurement and final account preparation. Participants identified potential AI supported tasks, required data, review and verification stages, and safeguards needed before adoption. The resulting recommendations will guide implementation teams in redesigning services and establishing frameworks to govern and monitor their performance.
