The Philippines Department of Finance announced that the Bureau of Internal Revenue has launched the Registered Business Enterprise Taxpayer Service (RBETS) as part of implementing the CREATE MORE Act. The service is designed to provide centralized, end-to-end tax administration for registered business enterprises (RBEs), aiming to support uniform application of tax incentive rules while strengthening revenue protection. RBETS is set up as a specialized office within the Bureau of Internal Revenue to help RBEs with tax compliance and the prompt resolution of issues, staffed by revenue officers trained to address the operational complexities of RBEs and to provide guidance to priority industries. The rollout includes “RBE Express Counters” in Revenue District Offices with more than 50 registered RBEs, and 20 express counters planned in key commercial and economic hubs including Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, Makati, Taguig, Pasig, Muntinlupa, Quezon City, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, and Cebu.
