The rule also repeals the 31 December banking holiday pursuant to the Fintech Act. The amendments incorporate feedback from two public consultations and focus on the mandatory elements of Articles 37 and 38, including minimum office opening hours, the mechanisms and channels banks must enable for customer service, minimum conditions for providing customer service, and requirements applicable to customer service channels. The CMF also published a Regulatory Report and an FAQ addressing issues raised during the consultation processes alongside the final rule.
