The Angola Capital Markets Commission approved the registration of KIMU INVEST, a closed-end real estate investment fund for private subscription, promoted by Independent Finance Advisors – Sociedade Gestora de Organismos de Investimento Colectivo, S.A. The fund’s investment policy includes acquiring real estate (or autonomous units) for residential, commercial, services, warehouse and industrial uses; acquiring surface rights to support land subdivision, construction and real estate development; and acquiring units in other real estate investment funds as well as equity stakes in companies whose assets are at least 75% real estate and can be directly incorporated into the fund’s portfolio.
