The European Banking Authority has published a draft technical package for version 4.1 of its reporting framework to give reporting entities an early view of the specifications and support implementation ahead of the final release expected at end May 2025. The draft package sets out standard specifications, including validation rules, the Data Point Model (DPM) and XBRL taxonomies, to support Pillar 3 templates under the comprehensive Implementing Technical Standards on Pillar 3 disclosures for the Pillar 3 data hub, the MiCAR reporting Guidelines used by competent authorities for supervisory tasks and significance assessment, and the integration of instant payments reporting requirements into the DPM and taxonomy. It also adds further validation rules to the ESG ad-hoc data collection module and continues the transition to DPM 2.0 and the new glossary, including data dictionary contents in both DPM 1.0 and DPM 2.0 formats. The EBA invited comments on issues identified in the draft technical package by 15 April 2025 and on the DPM new glossary until the revision is finalised. The end May 2025 final package is expected to incorporate corrections arising from stakeholder review.
