The National Bank of Moldova, in partnership with Expert-Grup, opened the sixth edition of its Financial Education Camp, to be held online from 4–7 August 2025. The programme targets young people and is designed to strengthen practical financial knowledge and decision-making, with Governor Anca Dragu highlighting the role of financial education in shaping personal choices and encouraging participants to act as financial education ambassadors in their communities. The camp consists of four 90-minute sessions covering the financial system, the benefits of Moldova’s accession to the Single Euro Payments Area, cashless payments and innovation, and practical guidance on saving, investing and starting a business. The programme ends with a recap quiz, with coin sets and backpacks awarded to the top 10 participants; the initiative was launched in 2020 under the “Dă sens banilor” project.
