The State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) has appointed Alexander Zhdanov as its General Director, following a decision by the DIA Board of Directors. The appointment takes effect on 13 January 2026. Zhdanov previously spent more than 20 years at the Central Bank of Russia, most recently serving as Director of the Financial Resolution Department from June 2017.

The State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) has appointed Alexander Zhdanov as General Director, effective 13 January 2026. Zhdanov brings over 20 years of experience from the Central Bank of Russia, where he was Director of the Financial Resolution Department since June 2017.
