The Federal Reserve Bank of New York appointed Michael P. Psyllos, president and chief executive officer of Alma Bank, to its Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council with immediate effect. The council provides perspectives from commercial banks, thrift institutions and credit unions headquartered in the Federal Reserve’s Second District with assets below USD 10 billion. Members serve three-year terms and meet twice a year with the New York Fed’s president and first vice president to discuss regional economic and financial conditions and issues affecting community depository institutions. Its next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 8.
