The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission published guidance and resources for EDGAR filers as it begins rolling out “EDGAR Next” access and account-management enhancements. A new EDGAR Filer Management dashboard will go live on 24 March, and filers can start enrolling in EDGAR Next by submitting an amended Form ID to obtain EDGAR access credentials. EDGAR Next, adopted through rule and form amendments in September 2024, is intended to strengthen EDGAR account security while simplifying filer access procedures. Enrollment remains open until 19 December 2025, but filers are advised to enroll by 12 September 2025 to avoid interruption in the ability to file. The SEC also pointed filers to supporting materials including instructional videos, recorded webinars (including a session for individual filers), written “How Do I” guides, FAQs, and information on the new EDGAR Next account administrator role.
