The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), working with the Quetta Electric Supply Company Limited (QESCO), held an interactive awareness session for large industrial and commercial electricity consumers at the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focusing on the benefits of business formalisation and the practical steps to incorporate companies through SECP’s digital channels. The session covered SECP’s regulatory functions, its network of nine Company Registration Offices, and the end-to-end incorporation process via the eZfile portal, including user registration, required documentation, and available business structures. Participants sought clarifications on regulatory and procedural issues, and SECP also shared updates on its company registration facilitation efforts, including incorporation growth trends over the past five years and initiatives aimed at simplifying processes and improving service delivery.
