Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo launches DCSES platform for electronic foreign direct investment statistics reporting

The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has launched the DCSES Data Collection and Statistics Exchange System and presented it to reporting companies as a new electronic platform for collecting foreign direct investment statistics. The system is intended to modernize statistical reporting and data collection, supporting the production of external sector statistics including the balance of payments, the international investment position and foreign direct investment data. The bank described the platform as part of a broader effort to expand statistical coverage, improve data quality and align Kosovo's statistical system with European and international standards. DCSES was developed in line with updated statistical requirements, including the latest BPM7 manual, and is designed to simplify reporting for companies, reduce administrative burden, improve data accuracy and streamline communication with the central bank. Automated processes and built-in controls are also expected to reduce later corrections and manual procedures, saving time and resources for both reporting firms and the bank.
