The Bank of the Lao P.D.R. Trade Union launched its Five Ownerships competition across eight affiliated grassroots union organizations. Participants will apply assessment criteria issued by the Lao Federation of Trade Unions, with performance under the campaign also contributing to evaluations of party units. The launch meeting reviewed the union’s activities from January through August 2026 and its work plan for the remainder of the year. Union committees were directed to oversee implementation, strengthen membership in both number and quality, support members’ professional and social activities, and protect the rights and interests of union members and public employees.
