The Bank of France will open its historic Paris headquarters and 95 regional branches to the public on Sept. 19 and 20, 2026, for European Heritage Days. Registration is required for visits, which will cover the central bank’s missions, operations, history and banknote production. At the headquarters, visitors will be able to learn about proposed designs for future euro banknotes and vote for preferred visuals in the public consultation running through Sept. 21. The program will also address payment fraud, the digital euro, identity theft, the right to a bank account and green finance, alongside discussions with Bank of France experts on monetary strategy, financial stability, banking and insurance supervision, cybersecurity and financial education.
