The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission has opened a physical Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) on the ground floor of its headquarters in Makati City to handle on-site inquiries, feedback and complaints, facilitate public consultation, and provide prompt responses to stakeholders. The helpdesk was launched in line with Anti-Red Tape Authority standards and to comply with Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018) and its implementing rules, which require government agencies to establish PACDs. The SEC stated the PACD will operate even during breaktime and will provide special lanes for senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities, alongside existing remote inquiry channels.
