The Arab Monetary Fund has convened the 24th meeting of the Financial Stability Task Force in Arab Countries, bringing together Arab central banks, monetary authorities and international institutions to examine emerging financial stability risks. The two-day meeting focuses on financial sector risks arising from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, as well as policy tools to manage external shocks and vulnerabilities in sukuk markets. Discussions cover AI risk mitigation, cybersecurity stress testing and macroprudential frameworks, capital flow management amid global market volatility, and structural weaknesses affecting sukuk market resilience. Participants are also reviewing preparations for the 2027 Financial Stability Report and the task force’s future work plan.
