The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (SSE) released model guidance designed to help stock exchanges support listed issuers in understanding and disclosing nature-related issues. The template aims to provide a consistent, practical framework for reporting on nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities, with the objective of strengthening integration of nature into corporate reporting and reducing fragmentation in market disclosure practices. The guidance is positioned as a practical starting point that exchanges can adapt to their local market context, reflecting growing investor and company demand for decision-useful information on nature-related issues beyond climate change. It is intended to align reporting practices with the TNFD approach and other emerging global frameworks. TNFD and SSE plan to host an online webinar on 1 October 2025 to outline the guidance’s core aims, with panelists from Norges Bank Investment Management, London Stock Exchange Group, Robeco and Euronext.
