The Bank of Italy announced it will take part in the OECD’s Global Money Week 2026 by delivering around 200 educational workshops in schools across Italy, aimed at introducing financial topics to young people in a simple and engaging way. The 2026 edition runs from 16 to 22 March 2026 under the theme “Smart Money Talks” and, in Italy, is coordinated by the Committee for the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities. Global Money Week, launched in 2012, is designed to build the knowledge, skills and habits needed for financial decision-making and has reached over 70 million young people in 176 countries.

The Bank of Italy will participate in the OECD's Global Money Week 2026 by conducting approximately 200 educational workshops in schools across Italy. The initiative, themed "Smart Money Talks," aims to introduce financial topics to young people in an engaging manner.
