The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has issued an updated AZN 50 paper banknote into circulation from 25 December 2025. The update adds the signature of the Bank’s Chairman, Taleh Kazimov, and shows “2025” as the production year, while keeping the existing design and technical specifications unchanged. The signature appears on the front of the banknote in the upper-left corner. The updated banknote will circulate in parallel with the existing AZN 50 banknotes currently in use.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has released an updated AZN 50 banknote featuring the signature of Chairman Taleh Kazimov and the production year "2025." The design and technical specifications remain unchanged. The new banknote will circulate alongside existing AZN 50 banknotes.
