Mexico's National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) published its Financial Savings and Financing Report with figures as of September 2025, alongside an accompanying public dataset covering the main intermediation channels in Mexico’s financial system. The dataset provides detailed breakdowns of financial savings components, including intermediary deposits, holdings of fixed-income securities and fiduciary securitisation certificates, and external savings, as well as financing components such as loan portfolios, domestic debt issuance, fiduciary securitisation certificates and external financing. As of the end of the third quarter of 2025, total financial savings (domestic and external) stood at 98.2% of GDP (MXN 34.6 trillion), while total financing reached 102.4% of GDP (MXN 36 trillion); domestic financing to the private sector represented 38.5% of GDP.
