The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has cancelled the Australian financial services licence of New South Wales-based Redstone Capital Pty Ltd after becoming aware that the firm had ceased carrying on a financial services business. Redstone Capital had held the licence since Feb. 19, 2008, with authorization to provide general financial product advice and deal in specified financial products for retail and wholesale clients. The firm may seek a review of the cancellation by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
