The Reserve Bank of Malawi, through the Liquidator of Alliance Capital Limited (ACL), published a second and final urgent notice requiring ACL investors to submit or update their personal, identification and banking details in person to complete reconciliation of investor records ahead of processing any planned future payments. Investors must present a copy of their National Identification Card, proof of investment in ACL (such as certificates, statements or receipts) and current bank account details, and complete a mandatory form at the designated centre. The notice warns that investors who do not comply will have their details excluded from future payment distribution plans or schedules, and non-responding investors will be treated as having relinquished their interest and have their records closed for processing. The final update windows will be held at Reserve Bank of Malawi offices in Blantyre (22–23 January 2026, 9:00 am–4:00 pm), Lilongwe head office (26–27 January 2026, 9:00 am–4:00 pm) and Mzuzu (29 January 2026, 9:00 am–3:00 pm), with no further opportunity after these dates.
