Bermuda's Ministry of Finance announced that Premier and Minister of Finance David Burt will travel to London and Luxembourg from March 23 to 26 for engagements intended to strengthen Bermuda’s links with Westminster and expand international partnerships and cooperation in financial services. In London, Burt will co-host a dinner at the Palace of Westminster with Alicia Kearns MP to introduce the new Bermuda All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), which will be chaired by Kearns and attended by ten Members of Parliament from both Houses. The APPG is positioned as a forum to support Bermuda’s interests in Westminster and to be used by government, industry, civil society and the public to engage with Parliament. The programme also includes high-level meetings in Luxembourg with the Government of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Insurance and Reinsurance Association (ACA), alongside additional delegation engagements in London.
