The Montenegro Capital Market Authority announced that board member Ana Pivljanin and independent adviser Sara Pejović took part in the 10th edition of an executive education program jointly organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions and Harvard Law School Executive Education. The program brings together financial market regulators to exchange supervisory experience and discuss current developments affecting market regulation and oversight. Discussions covered changes in market structure, systemic risk management, international regulatory cooperation and the adaptation of supervisory frameworks to rapid technological change. A particular focus was placed on risk-based supervision, oversight of crypto-asset markets and digital financial services, operational resilience, cybersecurity, anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, compliance functions in financial institutions, and market abuse investigations. Participants also reviewed case studies and regulatory experience from multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and New Zealand.
