The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta announced the promotion of Brent Meyer to vice president and senior economist in its Research Division, effective December 16, 2025. In the role, Meyer will provide strategic leadership for the Economic Survey Research Center, expand his leadership role on the Sixth District’s monetary policy advising team, and help set the strategic direction of the Research Division as a member of the divisional leadership team. He began his Federal Reserve career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2006, joined the Atlanta Fed in 2013, and most recently held policy adviser roles, including a promotion in 2021.
