The Central Bank of Armenia has published a data template on international reserves and foreign currency liquidity prepared under the Special Data Dissemination Standard, intended to assess member countries’ foreign exchange position and liquidity beyond headline reserve assets. The template reports the monetary authorities’ foreign currency claims and obligations to both residents and nonresidents, and covers projected foreign exchange inflows and outflows over a one-year horizon. It is compiled on the basis of on- and off-balance-sheet activities of the Central Bank and Government external drains, and is structured in four separate tables covering foreign currency resources, predetermined and contingent short-term drains, and memo items requiring supplementary information.
