The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority has overseen the signing of a cooperation protocol between its training arm, the Financial Services Institute, and the Egyptian Federation for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprise Finance to expand training and professional qualification for staff working in the non-bank financial sector. The arrangement is intended to develop and deliver specialised programmes for employees of companies and associations in the sector and to give federation members access to the institute’s training courses. This is the fifth cooperation protocol the institute has signed in the month with sector federations and associations. The framework also provides for qualified specialists from member firms to join the institute’s list of accredited lecturers, subject to its assessment standards, adding practical market experience to the training programme. In the accompanying remarks, the authority linked the initiative to its wider capacity-building agenda for non-bank finance, including programmes in governance, risk management, financial technology and digital transformation, with training content to be updated in line with evolving sector needs.
