The South Korea Financial Services Commission reported that sales of the second Public Participation Growth Fund totaled KRW 269.3 billion on September 30 and October 1, reaching 45% of its KRW 600 billion target. It also published remaining allocations by distributor as of 5 p.m. on October 1, noting that balances may change because of subscription cancellations. The second fund has the same basic structure as the first fund launched in May, including its investment restrictions, master-feeder arrangement and number of subfunds. However, its capital is managed separately, and it has different subfund managers, operating and maturity dates, underlying investments and final returns. Ten managers were selected through a new process for the second fund.
