The Bank of Albania said Governor Gent Sejko met Center of Excellence in Finance Director Jana Repanšek to review cooperation on professional capacity building and knowledge exchange and to discuss widening collaboration, particularly in banking supervision. The meeting also served to coordinate positions ahead of the CEF Annual Governing Board Meeting scheduled for 22 June 2026 in Skopje. CEF said Bank of Albania experts and staff recorded more than 55 participations in its main programs over the past two years, both as experts and as participants. Discussions covered possible future training activities and exchanges of experience with peer institutions in the region, as well as CEF's strategic priorities, funding challenges and member countries' contribution to continued support for the institution. The next step identified in the update is the CEF Annual Governing Board Meeting in Skopje on 22 June 2026.
