The Central Bank of Kuwait has launched the sixth cohort of its Cybersecurity Leaders Program for Kuwaiti nationals seeking to specialize in cybersecurity. The program forms part of the Kafa’a initiative, run with Kuwaiti banks and managed by the Institute of Banking Studies, and aims to develop professionals capable of protecting information systems across Kuwait’s banking and financial sector. The three-month program will be delivered with the SANS Institute and will conclude with a training workshop involving the Bank for International Settlements. Admission is subject to selection criteria, assessments and personal interviews, with applications open from Aug. 16 through Sept. 24, 2026.
