The National Bank of Serbia published operational statistics for its RTGS system, Clearing system, Interbank Foreign Exchange Clearing System and International Foreign Currency Clearing System for January 2026, covering transaction volumes, values and system availability. Across the RTGS and Clearing systems, 15.4 million payments were processed over 19 working days, with 14.4 million (93.3%) in RTGS and 1.0 million (6.7%) in the Clearing system, for an average daily volume of 810,305 payments. Turnover totalled RSD 17,429.8 billion in RTGS and RSD 24.5 billion in the Clearing system (0.14% of total value), with average daily turnover of RSD 917.4 billion and RSD 1.3 billion respectively; over 10,725 minutes of production time, both systems recorded no downtime (100.0% availability). In the interbank and international foreign currency clearing systems, which have 21 participants, the value of realised transactions was EUR 142,685,425.93 and availability was also 100.0%.
