Peru's Superintendence of the Securities Market (SMV) inaugurated the 26th edition of its Securities Market Specialization Programme, a free annual educational programme that will be delivered fully in person to support the training of current and future market professionals. The Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) was selected to support the SMV in organising this edition. The programme includes 13 courses, three workshops, five conferences by national speakers and two conferences by foreign speakers, and is scheduled to run until 28 March 2025. The cohort comprises 32 participants, including 28 students from universities across Peru selected from 342 applicants through an admission test, plus four SMV staff; the SMV also noted the programme has trained around 800 students and graduates over its history.
