The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held a training seminar for media representatives from the Issyk-Kul, Talas and Naryn regions, focusing on financial literacy, information security and cyberthreats facing financial institutions. Particular attention was given to the use of money mules and protecting the public from financial fraud. Participants developed communication channels and protocols for rapid coordination during crises. The National Bank and journalists also presented joint approaches to countering false information in the media.
