The Timor-Leste Ministry of Finance reported that the National Parliament approved at the general stage a bill amending the organic law governing the Chamber of Accounts of the High Administrative, Tax and Audit Court. The third amendment to Law No. 9/2011 received 39 votes in favor, one against and 13 abstentions. The bill now returns to the Committee on Constitutional Affairs and Justice for detailed consideration, with government participation. Vice Minister of Finance Regina de Jesus de Sousa took part in the plenary debate and vote.
