The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) issued an order requiring CFI Financial Group Holding Ltd and CFI International Ltd, and the company’s partner, to immediately suspend any public offering of securities intermediation services, following indications that the firms were targeting Brazilian residents. CVM’s Market and Intermediaries Relations Superintendence identified signs that the companies, through the websites www.cfifinancial.com and https://cfi.trade/pt/br, were seeking to attract clients resident in Brazil to conduct securities transactions. CVM also warned that neither company is authorised by CVM to intermediate securities or to raise funds from investors for investment in securities.
