More detailed monthly balance of payments information is available on the bank's website, and the balance of payments for the second quarter of 2026 is scheduled for publication on 8 September 2026. The bank noted that the monthly balance of payments is compiled from a smaller database than the quarterly statistics, which draw on a broader combined system of representative primary data sources including company surveys. The monthly estimate uses as much data as are available for the reference month, including administrative sources and reports on international payments, but remains partly subjective and is therefore published as an estimate. Monthly figures are adjusted once the quarterly balance of payments is released.
